Aureas develops and operates trading strategies for large private investors and institutional clients.

Having started with crypto assets in 2015, we now trade in many markets, with a focus on market-neutral and outperformance strategies. Our approach to investment is driven by quantitative analysis with a strong emphasis on effective risk management.

Being an unregulated entity, we do not directly manage funds. Instead, we collaborate exclusively with clients who have established their own trading companies or entities.

We are based in Munich, Germany.

Our services

We offer multiple services around trading, development, portfolio management, and consulting.

Digital Asset Family Office

We offer bespoke investment services to clients that hold significant amounts of digital assets. Typically, we assume complete control over the digital asset portfolio and maintain an active investment process that we think is necessary in the fast-changing crypto markets. Our service also includes investment management of exotic tokens, DeFi strategies, and the management of real-world-assets (RWA). We typically work with investment amounts that are larger than 2 million USD equivalent.

Flagship Trading Strategies

We provide three core strategies that can be tailored to risk and performance appetite:

  • Market-neutral-yield: Providing steady, consistent returns on digital assets such as BTC, ETH, or Solana
  • Outperformance: Provides higher returns than an underlying asset such as BTC or ETH — think “higher highs and higher lows”.
  • Stablecoin Yield+: High, principal-protected, interest-like returns on stablecoins (USDC, others). Contact us for factsheets.

Trading Algorithm Development

By developing our own trading strategies, we have built significant skills and infrastructure to develop, test, and execute quantitative trading strategies. Work with us to develop and implement new trading algorithms. We are always open for new trading ideas and can quickly implement reliable trading systems. Consulting

We are open to consulting engagements for firms active in the capital markets. Typical mandates include market entry consulting for tradfi firms to the digital asset space, adaptations of trading strategies to digital assets, or the development of new manual trading approaches outside of the algo-driven quant world.
